I agree it could be an entrance / gateway, but may be a natural cave into the South Massif rather than artificially constructed. Having said that, the South Massif itself does show clear geometry.<br><br>I've just looked on Google Moon and there are some very good NASA photos there which show Nansen (and Shorty) in very sharp detail. <br><br>I really think you and Richard should focus on getting more images of this area and doing in depth analysis. Surely, all the upcoming remote missions (India, China etc)to the Moon should obtain better data.<br><br>What data does Russia have?
